Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson are ready to face a new moon of their relationship.
After all, the Daisy Jones & The Six star said she and the Twilight alum had discussions about starting a family before welcoming their first baby together—a daughter—earlier this year.
"No, we really planned it," Suki told British Vogue, after being asked if her pregnancy was a surprise. “One day we looked at each other and said, ‘Well, this is as ready as we’re going to be.’”
The 32-year-old continued with a laugh, "I was like, ‘What can make more chaos?'"
And Robert—who Suki has been dating since 2018—has become "the dad I could have hoped for," according to the "Good Looking" singer.
"He was there with me and like all dads, he was really nervous,” she recounted of their daughter's birth, “but for someone who’s quite an anxious person, he’s been very calm.”
Suki added, “I mean a dad and his daughter? It’s an actual love story.”
As for her initial motherhood experience?
"Shocking in every way," Suki quipped, noting that she was "alarmed" when she learned that a baby needed to be breastfed every two hours. "I was like, ‘Excuse me? Is this what this entails?'"
Still, the Love, Rosie actress is taking it in strides. As she noted, "Whatever happens, this is my dream."
“Now, I have this anchor,” Suki added of their baby. “And I’m so happy all the time to go home and see her little gummy smile.”

Suki Waterhouse and Robert Pattinson first sparked relationship speculation in July 2018, when they were photographed on a PDA-filled date night in London.
In Dec. 2022, the private pair made their relationship red carpet official at Dior's fashion show in Egypt...
...where they couldn't help but show off their love.
The Daisy Jones actress and the Twilight alum turned the 2023 Met Gala into a date night on the first Monday in May.
The couple attended GO Campaign's 17th annual GO Gala at Citizen News in Hollywood on Oct. 21.
About two weeks after Suki confirmed her pregnancy, she and Rob went to the Poor Things premiere in New York. And they weren't the only stars there as Taylor Swift was also at the event.
In February 2023, Suki shared rare insight into her relationship with Rob. "I'm always incredibly excited when I see his name pop up [on my phone] or even a text, and I think he feels the same about me," she told The Sunday Times. "We've always got so much to say, and I find him hilarious."
"Rob definitely isn't getting advice from me about acting," Suki shared with The Sunday Times, "but of course I'll try and get him to help me with an audition before he falls asleep on the sofa."
The singer introduced the couple's baby on Instagram April 4, writing, "welcome to the world angel."
